Heavy rain, severe storms create challenges for Northeast Indiana crops

HARLAN, Ind. (WANE) — After a dry July, a surge of rain and severe storms is creating a new set of challenges for Northeast Indiana farmers.

Fort Wayne recorded 1.84 inches of rain in July, 2.21 inches below normal, according to the National Weather Service.
