Fort Wayne Thrift Trail returns after successful first year

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The Fort Wayne Thrift Trail will return for a second year after an overwhelming community response last year.

The Fort Wayne Thrift Trail will return with 11 participating nonprofits. Participating shoppers will use a passport to receive 30% off all items. Along the way, participants can collect stamps at each stop and complete a scavenger hunt to enter to win prizes. Last year, more than $100,000 was collectively raised for local nonprofits.

“What makes this event so special is that it’s truly a community event,” Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne Marketing Manager Dannielle Goodrich said. “Last year, we loved seeing families and groups of friends spending the day together. It’s all about having fun, bringing people together, and spreading the word about a few of the amazing nonprofits and the impact they make in our community.”…
