A Nashville resident is warning visitors after a wild scene played out at a food truck near 2nd and Broadway this past weekend. The story was shared in the Nashville Visitors Facebook group, and it is worth knowing before your next night out downtown.
The local had just left a bar on Broadway Friday night and stopped at the Weenie Fever food truck for a hot dog. While she waited, her phone disappeared from the counter. Her boyfriend actually watched a worker take it. When he asked for it back, the workers started yelling and threatened to call the police on him.
Luckily, her boyfriend, her best friend, and even her dad could all see her phone’s location through tracking apps. She filed a police report that same night.
The Next Morning Got Even More Intense
The phone stayed charged overnight, which turned out to be a huge help. The next day, she walked the entire length of Broadway for about two hours just to be sure she had the right spot. Once her phone’s location confirmed it was still at the food truck, she and her boyfriend went back…
