Firefighters fought a brush fire in a riverbed in Newhall on Friday night.
Around 8:45 P.M., first responders received a call about a brush fire in the Newhall Creek riverbed at the intersection of Wiley Canyon Road and Railroad Avenue, according to Aaron Katon, PIO Captain of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“The brush fire was reported as a quarter acre in medium brush,” said Katon.
