PORT CHARLOTTE — A handyman hired by a woman to work on her kitchen was arrested after detectives said he stole nearly 10,000 worth of her jewelry and pawned some of the items.
Richard Foust III, 47, of the 300 Strasburg Dr., Port Charlotte, was charged with grand theft from a person 65 or older, dealing-trafficking in stolen property and giving a false verification statement to a second dealer, court records show.
