Extreme Heat Warning set to bake Pima County all week

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Expect another day of seasonably warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies. However, temperatures will climb even higher this workweek as an Extreme Heat Warning for most of Pima County takes effect at 10 AM Monday and runs through 8 PM Friday. Afternoon highs will soar 6 to 7 degrees above normal—reaching around 105 to 106°—with little overnight relief as lows only dip into the 80s.

A chance for isolated storms remains to the south and east of Tucson. A low chance for showers and thunderstorms returns to the seven-day forecast by mid-to-late week.
