Juquavious Antwan Ryan, 24, of Acworth, is accused of operating a 2022 gray Dodge Challenger with a loud and unusual sounding modified or non-stock exhaust system on Aug. 8 at 8:51 p.m. at the intersection of South Cobb Drive and Atlanta Road, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Ryan was detained on a traffic stop at the Atlanta Road near Walker Street. He did not have his license on him. While Ryan was being escorted to a patrol vehicle, he began resisting and fighting with officers. Ryan grabbed two officers around the torso and attempted to throw them to the ground, while pulling them into the lane of travel, steps away from vehicles, according to the warrant.
Ryan is charged with exhaust system, prevention of noise, smoke and fumes; driving without license on person; two counts of obstruction felony; improper lane change/no signal; and battery – simple battery – police. He was arrested on Aug. 8 at 8:55 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
