(FOX40.COM) — Two convicted felons were pulled over in separate incidents and found to have firearms on Saturday night, Modesto CHP announced.
Officials said the first driver was pulled over for driving recklessly on State Route 99. During an investigation, officers discovered a firearm inside the vehicle and that the driver was a convicted felon.
Later that night, on State Route 33, another driver was stopped for traveling 80 mph in a 55 mph zone and running a stop sign. That driver was also found to be a convicted felon, and narcotics and a firearm were found inside the vehicle.
