Montgomery County Police shared an overview of reported calls for service from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16. The incidents included armed assaults, burglaries, auto thefts, a robbery and a weapons arrest.
In the 1st District, which includes Rockville and parts of Potomac, police reported two auto thefts and an aggravated assault involving a firearm. Vehicles were stolen from a parking lot in the 12000 block of Rockville Pike and a driveway in the 300 block of W. Edmonston Dr. On Sunday afternoon, a driver reportedly pointed a handgun at another driver following a road rage incident near Veirs Mill Rd and Atlantic Ave.
In the 2nd District, which includes Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac and surrounding areas, an apartment in the 10500 block of Rockville Pike was entered Sunday afternoon and property was taken. One person was arrested a short time later…
