The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles this week announced it has posted a Request for Proposals seeking suitable office space in the Wake Forest or Rolesville area of northeastern Wake County.
The recently passed state budget allocated funding for a new driver license office in this fast-growing region, along with 10 new examiner positions to deliver an increased level of service to residents. NCDMV also plans to relocate its contracted license plate agency to the same location, creating a convenient one-stop shop for customers.
“Northeastern Wake County continues to grow rapidly, and our customers deserve convenient access to the full range of DMV services close to home,” said NCDMV Commissioner Paul Tine. “This new office, supported by additional examiners and a co-located license plate agency, will help us meet rising demand and further improve the customer experience in this important part of the state.”…
