I’m getting excited about fall, but I’ve probably mentioned it several times in past writings. It’s my favorite season, and it isn’t close. So, even though I’m not a pumpkin spice guy and never will be, I welcome its arrival. And there’s never a bad time to talk about Halloween, so let’s do it, and let’s start with one of the tri-state’s most popular “spooky season” attractions.
I’ve never been to the Newburgh Civitan Zombie Farm when there wasn’t a line. The popular indoor/outdoor attraction usually draws visitors from all over southern Indiana and western Kentucky. But in 2026, a new partnership figures to make it “the biggest & most immersive haunted attraction in the tri-state area.” That’s what it says at the top of the Henderson Haunts Facebook page, and who am I to argue?
