Cold Front Sweeps Through With Storms Tracking Near St. Louis

Simulated radar valid for 9 a.m. Wednesday shows a well-defined cold front sweeping through the region, with an organized line of storms tracking from near St. Louis and Kansas City eastward across the Ohio Valley. The most intense activity, shown in orange and red returns, is concentrated near the St. Louis area.

This front is expected to continue pushing east through the day, carrying the potential for showers and thunderstorms across a wide swath of the Midwest and Ohio Valley as it advances toward communities including Indianapolis, Louisville, and Columbus.
