Fast food franchise Jollibee reached a milestone this month despite already having a significant presence in California.
The brand opened its first franchise location in the state on Aug. 7. Located in Roseville, the opening is part of a 24-unit franchise agreement for the development of Jollibee locations in Northern California, Nevada, and Texas.
The expansion is led by franchisees Sanjive Datta, a seasoned business leader and multi-unit franchise operator, and Ajay Chopra, an entrepreneurial executive with nearly 30 years of experience building and growing companies. They will work alongside Operating Partner Paul Avila, a multi-unit restaurant operator with leadership experience across major QSR brands.
Jollibee has more than 30 company-owned locations in California, along with several opening soon. The state is also home to Jollibee’s first U.S. location, which opened in Daly City in 1998. The Roseville opening follows a recent opening in downtown San Francisco…
