San Francisco’s West Portal neighborhood is about to get even buzzier.
The owners of Original Joe’s, the Bay Area’s iconic Italian restaurant chain dating back to 1937, are opening a restaurant dedicated to burgers and chicken tenders at 385 West Portal Ave., according to a news release shared with SFGATE.
Original Joe’s Cable Car is slated to open in late 2027 next to Little Original Joe’s, the market and to-go spot known for pizza and rotisserie chicken.
