Greece, N.Y. — Two people face charges after a police chase ended with a crash Monday, two days after the suspect vehicle had been involved in another chase, according to the Greece Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a larceny Saturday at an undisclosed retail location involving a vehicle that fled the scene. Police said they found the vehicle and tried to make a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled. Officers pursued the vehicle for a short time before ending the chase.
Police said they received a license plate reader notification Monday indicated the same vehicle had been detected in the Dewey Avenue area. Officers later spotted the vehicle on Vintage Lane and tried to make a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled and prompted another chase…
