KEARNS, Utah (ABC4) — Police have released more information about the shooting that occurred outside of a funeral in Kearns on Monday, including the identity of the victim who lost his life.
On Aug. 17, the Unified Police Department was contacted before a funeral and asked to have a police presence nearby. Around 11:25 a.m., officers heard gunshots from the south side of the building and responded quickly.
They found a victim in the street with a gunshot wound, who was transported to the hospital but ultimately pronounced deceased. He has now been identified as 18-year-old Vilisoni Angilau…
