HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested after deputies said he posed as a buyer and stole a laptop from a couple at a Wawa in Hillsborough County on Tuesday.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it was called to the Wawa at 16620 US Highway 301 in Wimauma for a reported theft.
Investigators said they learned that a couple had met a man they believed was interested in buying their laptop. When the couple handed it over, surveillance video captured him taking the laptop and running away…
