EMU to host campus food trucks, new summer dining options

This summer, Eastern Michigan University’s dining service, E|Dining, will introduce food trucks as an on-campus lunch option during the summer semesters. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, a food truck will offer rotating lunch options from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays will offer Little Caesars, Wednesdays will have Tabor’s Smokin’ Soul Food and Thursdays will feature Shawarma Chef on campus.

In a campus-wide email, E|Dining stated, “Throughout the summer, food truck availability will continue to be shaped by campus engagement, as sustained service depends on consistent support from our community.”

Since the food trucks are independent businesses not associated with EMU, they will be able to extend, limit or change their hours based on demand. Students can check for closures or time changes with the Dine On Campus App or E|Dining’s website…
