Charlotte woman who sued stable owner from viral Uptown horse video denied award after appeal

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The woman who claimed her horse was blinded due to the actions of a viral Charlotte horse rider was denied any awards Wednesday in her lawsuit.

Tracey Bogan filed a negligence lawsuit in January against Desmon Moore, the owner of Reform Stables in northwest Charlotte.

She alleged that while boarding her horse with Moore, he rode it at 11 p.m. on Christmas 2025, and Moore contacted Bogan to tell her the horse had an eye injury…
