MARION, Iowa — The Marion Fire Department has earned accredited agency status from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International after completing a voluntary review of its operations and performance.
Marion Mayor Nick AbouAssaly, City Manager Ryan Waller and Fire Chief Tom Fagan attended the accreditation hearing in Chicago on Aug. 19.
