A central Toledo man who stole a vehicle and was later shot by its owner has received suspended jail time and two years’ probation for the theft.
Jamar Turner, 20, of the 2200 block of Fulton Street, is to continue receiving mental health counseling as one of the probation terms Judge Ken Walz handed down Thursday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. He also must abstain from using alcohol, marijuana, or other drugs, although the judge noted he is underage for legal intoxicants.
