JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Two firefighters are recovering after responding to a fire at two abandoned structures in Jackson.
The fire occurred just before 3:30 a.m. on August 20, 2026, on Dalton Street.
Chief of Fire Investigations Charles Felton, with the Jackson Fire Department (JFD), said one firefighter sustained a burn to the leg while responding to the incident. The firefighter is expected to make a full recovery…
