TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A child on a bicycle was hit and killed near Tangerine Road and Interstate 10 in Marana on Thursday, Aug. 20.
The Marana Police Department said the accident happened near Midfield Road and Hancock Drive around 7:50 a.m. The roadway was still closed as of 12 p.m.
The driver who hit the child remained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
