Vehicle recovered during hunt for suspects who killed Tucson police recruit

TUCSON, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities have found an SUV allegedly used by two suspects who shot and killed a Tucson police recruit and injured his fiancée, who is a corrections officer, on Wednesday.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) said detectives recovered the gray SUV that was described in the homicide investigation.

PCSD said the SUV was found in a parking lot near South Palo Verde Avenue and East 33rd Street in Tucson, which is about 16 miles away from where police recruit Carlos Ramirez and his fiancée were found…
