Records detail Arizona officer’s misuse of Flock cameras to find wife

APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (AZFamily) — A former Apache Junction police officer resigned after admitting he misused Flock camera technology to track his wife, according to internal affairs records obtained by Arizona’s Family Investigates. Two telecommunications officers who helped him search the system were also disciplined.

Apache Junction Police Chief Mike Pooley addressed the case last week, acknowledging the now-former officer, Joshua McDaniel, misused Flock cameras to track his wife.

“We immediately put this employee, this officer on administrative leave, and we started an internal investigation,” Pooley said.
