RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — Rutherford County Schools says six bus contractors are being put on notice as the district works to address a driver shortage affecting several routes.
According to the district, Rutherford County Schools has more than 1,000 bus runs each day.
Of those, the district says 12 routes are currently being split among other contractors to keep buses moving, while one route serving John Coleman Elementary School does not have coverage.
