Shelter-in-place order lifted in Taylorsville; Tactical teams serve arrest warrant

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — A shelter-in-place order has been lifted in Taylorsville after a suspect was taken into custody.

According to Lieutenant Jaren Fowler, with Taylorsville Police Department, officers were in the area of 5900 S and 3840 W in attempts to locate a vehicle that had fled from police last week. They were able to locate the vehicle at the residence and determined that the owner had multiple outstanding warrants for felony assault offenses and domestic violence crimes.

Multiple officers were deployed and they went up to the residence and made contact with an adult female and juvenile female, both of whom exited the residence. They also confirmed that the suspect, a 41-year-old male, was inside the residence…
