TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man has died after being shot early Saturday morning at an apartment complex in Tempe.
Around 2 a.m., first responders were called to reports of gunfire near the Rio Paradiso Apartment Homes in the area of Washington Street and Center Parkway, between Priest Drive and Mill Avenue.
Officers found a man with gunshot wounds and took him to a hospital, where he later died, according to the Tempe Police Department.
Hours later, a police command van and several patrol units remained in the apartment complex’s parking lot with crime scene tape placed nearby. It was not immediately clear where in the complex the shooting occurred…
