Progressive deal ‘reflects the momentum and visibility’ at Syracuse, Bryan Blair says

A few days ago, in a unique deal lauded by sports marketing experts, Syracuse and 12 other schools around the country in different conferences inked a sponsorship agreement with Progressive Insurance that calls for on-field branding and other marketing elements starting at the onset of the 2026 college football season.

Experts say it’s a win-win for Mayfield Village, Ohio-based Progressive, one of the country’s largest insurance companies, and the 13 schools involved in the deal that was facilitated by Dallas-based Learfield.

The agreement was announced on August 18. Since then, SU Athletics hasn’t said much. Inside the Loud House sent a list of questions to a Syracuse Athletics spokesperson and requested an interview, but that request was respectfully denied. No worries there…
