Scattered showers and storms developing across Kansas overnight will continue to bring off and on heavy downpours through the morning.
Rain cooled air plus a gentle east wind will help to reduce temperatures a bit from Friday, though it will still be fairly hot for most.
Another round of storms moves toward western Kansas tonight, with a few potentially becoming severe.
Spotty leftover showers and storms will visit the area again through the night into Sunday morning.
The somewhat-hot and sometimes-stormy pattern will hang around through much of the week ahead as the heat dome remains to our southwest.
A disturbance brings a slightly better opportunity for rainfall by Tuesday and Wednesday.
All the while, temperatures will remain on the warm side of average but not too extremely hot.
