A community event on Sept. 12 aims to build a 400-foot Cuban sandwich at L. Cpl. Justin Wilson Memorial Park in Palm City is attempting to set a new world record.
The project, titled “Bite Into History: The Longest Cuban Sandwich Ever Made,” would surpass the current record of 365 feet set in Tampa in 2024.
The event is co-hosted by Old Havana Cafe in Stuart and House of Hope, a local nonprofit organization.
