2 arrested in Hopkinton as police continue summer OUI enforcement

Hopkinton police are reminding the public about the dangers of drinking and driving as two people were arrested in Hopkinton this past week.

A 19-year-old was charged with an OUI and had a BAC of .270, triple the legal limit when his car rollover over. He was also charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation, according to police.

A 30-year-old was charged with an OUI and a had a BAC of .158, double the legal limit, when he left the scene of a crash and caused damage to his tires, according to police. The operator was also charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage…
