MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Mesa man is accused of attacking his roommate with a machete to teach him a “lesson,” officials with the Mesa Police Department said.
Officers responded to a business near Gilbert and Broadway roads on Saturday just after midnight for reports that a man walked in with serious injuries.
Detectives learned that the victim was sitting in a chair outside when the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Marco Molina, walked up to him with a machete with a two-foot blade and began to slash him.
The victim tried several times to get away but Molina continued to attack him and at one point, stood over him and threatened to kill him, Mesa police said…
