Track 15 Plans an Oyster-Filled Sendoff to Summer

Labor Day weekend usually comes with an unspoken assignment: fit in one more very summery thing before everyone starts discussing cider doughnuts. Track 15 has an appropriately Rhode Island suggestion involving oysters, martinis, and an afternoon on the plaza.

On Saturday, September 5, the downtown Providence food hall will host its first Oyster Darty from noon to 4 PM. The daytime party puts Dune Brothers in the spotlight with freshly shucked oysters and littlenecks sourced from different farms, plus grilled and fried oysters for anyone who prefers their shellfish with a little more intervention.

Naturally, there will be something cold to wash it all down. Narragansett Beer joins Track 15’s Salty Brine Martini among the featured pairings, making the afternoon feel less like the end of summer and more like a reason to postpone acknowledging it…
