Mount Pleasant officer fired after investigation confirms off-duty DUI arrest in Georgia

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — A Mount Pleasant Police Officer was fired Tuesday after an investigation into his reported DUI arrest in Georgia in June of 2026.

According to the MPPD, Officer Morgan Rowe was placed on administrative leave without pay, pending the results of a blood test, after Rowe alerted Mount Pleasant Officials to his DUI arrest on June 14, 2026.

The blood test results later confirmed that Rowe was above the legal limit when Georgia State Patrol arrested him while off duty in his personal vehicle…
