Millbrook Police Department
On August 18, 2026, Millbrook police responded to Walmart with regard to a retail theft investigation. Loss prevention personnel advised responding officers that an unknown white male entered the business, proceeded to the Lawn and Garden Department, where he selected various lawn equipment, placing the items into a shopping cart. The individual then proceeded through the business into the checkout area, where he proceeded through a closed register, passing the last point of sale without rendering payment. As the individual was exiting the business, he produced a sales receipt, which was deemed invalid and not pertinent to the date or items that he’d obtained. Walmart loss prevention staff officials produced surveillance camera footage of the suspected offender, which captured the incident in its entirety, to include the suspected offender leaving the business with the stolen property.
Detectives with the Millbrook Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit enlisted the assistance of CrimeStoppers, who published still photographs of the alleged offender, his vehicle and a description of the alleged offense committed on various media outlets.
