NORFOLK, VA (WTKR)- Quinn Henicle takes a lot of pride in being Old Dominion’s starting quarterback. After waiting in the wings for two years, he’s finally getting his turn.
“There was always a sense of confidence,” Henicle said of the position battle. “I’ve always wanted this position, but now that I have it it’s time to work. It’s time to do what I’ve always wanted to do here so I’m just ready to go.”
The redshirt sophomore was named the starter late last week, beating out redshirt freshman Ryan Huff and Washington State transfer Jaxon Potter. He says there wasn’t too much weight on his shoulders during camp, but getting the nod certainly boosts his confidence level…
