Pa. district attorney threatens to close bar after reported rape

A Pennsylvania district attorney is threatening to close a bar after several “concerning events,” including the reported rape of a woman who said she blacked out after drinking there.

Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr. said in a statement that his office has prepared a petition to close Capo’s in Pittsburgh’s South Side.

Zappala said the Nuisance Bar Task Force is scheduled to meet with Capo’s representatives on Tuesday “to discuss terms of remediation.”…
