3 Secret Service officials placed on leave amid misconduct investigation

(The Hill) — Three U.S. Secret Service (USSS) officials were placed on administrative leave Tuesday amid an investigation into possible misconduct, a spokesperson told The Hill.

The agency’s Office of Professional Responsibility is conducting the probe, and details around the investigation were not immediately clear. All three officials were non-law enforcement personnel, according to the spokesperson.
