NEW YORK CITY [PIX11] — Police are searching for a man involved in an alleged stabbing of an MTA employee on the platform of a busy subway station Monday night, according to authorities.
At around 10:30 p.m., a 30-year-old MTA employee was stationed on a platform at the 42nd Street – Times Square subway station when an unidentified man got into an argument with the MTA employee, according to police.

The argument escalated into physical fight, and the man allegedly stabbed the MTA employee in his left arm, causing a deep cut, according to investigators.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
