LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Anyone who has driven through Downtown Louisville’s hospital district this week might have found themselves either stuck in traffic or trying to figure out a way around the road closures.
Many of the delays are part of the I-65 Corridor construction project. At the beginning of the month, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet wrapped up a two-month closure of the interstate, which saw major repairs. For now, the focus has moved to the surface streets below I-65, like those that run through the Lou Med area.
