U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur has been released from a local rehabilitation facility and is now home following a car crash that hospitalized her and her campaign manager.
Her office confirmed that she was released from the Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio earlier this week and has returned to her South Toledo home.
“I am so grateful to everyone who has helped my dear staff member Kegan [Zimmermann] and I heal in these last few weeks from our car being struck in a terrible collision,” Ms. Kaptur, (D., Toledo), said in a statement. “The airbag and seatbelt saved my life, but they also took a toll.”…
