LINN COUNTY, Iowa — The Linn County Board of Supervisors has approved new speed limits on several secondary roads following engineering and traffic studies conducted by the Linn County Secondary Road Department.
The changes come after a new state law took effect July 1 that increased the default speed limit on eligible county roads from 55 mph to 60 mph.
