Vanderburgh County waste transfer station catches fire

VANDERBURGH CO., Ind. (WEHT) – Fire officials responded to a fire in Vanderburgh County.

Crews were called to the waste transfer station on Warrick County Line Road around 8:30 a.m. on August 28. Arriving crews said the building was on fire.

Forum to be held on data centers, power plant in Owensboro

No injuries have been reported. Workers were at the station, they took a break, and when they returned the trash was on fire. Workers do expect to go back in and resume their work today.
