Family, friends of slain teacher’s assistant, road rage victim lay her to rest

Family and friends gathered at a Fort Worth church Saturday for the funeral service of LaTaivia Davis, a young teacher’s assistant remembered for her compassion and unwavering support of others.

The celebration of her life follows a balloon release at E. Ray Elementary School, where she worked, earlier this week.
