46 citations issued in bicycle & pedestrian safety operation in south coastal OC

Dana Point Police Services recently carried out a targeted bicycle and pedestrian safety enforcement operation, issuing 46 citations to bicyclists, pedestrians, and motorists.

The violations ranged from bicyclists failing to stop at stop signs, under‑18 riders without helmets, pedestrians crossing against the red hand signal, and drivers entering crosswalks while pedestrians were actively crossing.
