The National Weather Service in Birmingham issued a notice giving Alabamians a heads-up about the “dangerous heat this week.” Although there is no formal heat advisory, the “feels-like” temperatures will soar this week across West Alabama.

“High temperatures will reach the mid-to-upper 90s through the weekend, potentially reaching 100 degrees in some areas,” said the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
