A man suspected of rape was arrested upon his arrival to Los Angeles International Airport after authorities said he fled the country “immediately” after an early-morning sexual assault late last month.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the investigation began at 5:18 a.m. on Aug. 26 when deputies from the Fontana Station were dispatched to Lytle Creek, a small community nestled in the San Bernardino Mountains about 10 miles north of Fontana, on an “unknown problem” call.
