Vendors reflect on first months of Madison Public Market

MADISON, Wis. — The Madison Public Market is moving toward its rescheduled grand opening after a soft opening and a delay.

Vendors and market leaders said community support has helped businesses adapt during the market’s first months. The market, which includes multiple food stalls, has been busy since opening, vendors said.

“Honestly, it’s been incredible since the day we opened,” said Luis Aguilar, owner of Caracas Empanadas y Mas. “We noticed so many challenges that we didn’t foresee. And as we kept going; we kept evolving.”…
