CLEVELAND (WJW) — U.S. Marshals-led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested two suspects in a 2024 murder in Arkansas and Georgia.
Officers arrested 35-year-old Ronald Thomas and 35-year-old Brittny Kirby for the murder of 34-year-old Daniel Perry. Perry was shot and killed in a gas station in the 3400 block of E. 131st Street in Cleveland in December of 2024.

Authorities have been on the hunt for Thomas and Kirby since the murder. Members of the task force followed leads in Ohio and out of state. In December 2025, officers found Thomas in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
The Ohio-based Marshals worked with members of both the U.S. Marshals Service Western Arkansas Fugitive Task Force and Arkansas State Police. Together, authorities were able to find and arrest Thomas during a vehicle stop.
